pain in side

i am 74 and have a pain in my lower right side just below ribbs as it started after heavey drinking is it related to booze ?

Sorry to hear this but it may be wise to check up on your pancreus as it may be inflamed due to alcohol, there are two types 1 is acute and 2 is chronic, i don't mean to worry you but go to your G.P and check this out before it becomes worse, good luck.
