Hi Debbie,

I am sorry that you are experiencing the pain of Lupus and Fibro.

I don't know what state you are in but that will dictate what type of physician you consult with for pain management. In my state it is your PCP that prescribes and follows their CP patients.

A goggle search of your state's physician should produce results. Sometimes a friend can refer you to a compassionate physician. That maybe a place to start. I found my physician purely by accident. I had quit looking and hoping that a physician would ever beleive I had pain let alone find the reason for it. Can you speak with the physican that treats your Lupus and ask for a recommendation?

Please keep in ttouch and let us know how you are doing. Take Care, Tuck

Do you have a personal physician? He/she can refer you to a pain management doctor.
To have your pain treated and have more options available to you I suggest a pain management doctor as they can offer you more than your PCP.
