for many years ive got toothache which results causing either a tension headache or migraine. my dentist thinks i have bony gums so i could be knocking the gums either when brushing my teeth or when im eating anything, or it could be stress. It always seems to be on my right side. The top right was because of a wisdom tooth, which i had removed last month, but still causes pain in that area. the bottom right i already have a wisdom tooth there, but abit further back it seems hard as if a tooth is  under there. My dentist as taken a xray but couldnt find anything wrong. Could it be just stress, or something eles my dentist isnt aware of, many thanks.

Hi Yorkshiregal,

Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am sorry to hear that you are having mouth/tooth pain. It can be the pits, especially when complicated by headaches!

I don't know a lot about dental and mouth care other then the importance of good dental hygiene. Please know that you are always welcome here but we have a Dental Health Community that may better respond to your post. That forum is focused solely on Dental Care whereas this form is pain management.  I encourage you to copy and paste your post on the Dental Health Forum.

Here's the link:

I wish you the very best and hope that they will be able to get to the source of your pain..... and treat it. Chronic pain, no matter where it is located we understand. My heart goes out to you. Please feel free to post again here. We offer you our support.

Peace,
~Tuck
