Hi Millie,

Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am glad you found us and took the time to post but sorry to hear about your pain. We know how pain can disrupt our lives.

I searched your Profile Page or additional information but was unsuccessful in learning more about you. How long have you had this pain. What is your general age... middle age or younger? Left arm, shoulder pain can be cardiac related but I assume you are young which makes that possibility less likely. Still it should be considered.

Do you have this pain all the time or is there something that makes it worse? If there anything that makes it better? How long have you had this pain? Can you describe it? Is it shooting or burning, aching? Any additional information you can provide would be helpful.

Yes this could be a cervical spine issue. It could be related to a spinal structure issue or a nerve impingement... but sorry, these are guesses.

I'll watch for any additional information you can provide. Of course the best suggestion I can give is for you to consult your PCP. He/she should be able to provide you with a definitive diagnosis. I'll look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Take Care,
~Tuck

Hi millie722,

First, I want to welcome you to the PM (Pain Management) Forum and let you know that we are glad you found this Forum. We are all CP (Chronic Pain) Patients that help each other with our own expertise and experiences that we have developed through our own CP Issues.

I'm sorry to hear of this pain that you are experiencing!!  There are many different things that could be causing you this pain, but the first thing that comes to mind has to do with problems with your neck and the discs and nerves in your neck.

I'm going to suggest that you go to your Doctor and have him/her run some tests and get to the bottom of what's going on with you.  You must remember that none of us on this Forum (PM - Pain Management) are Doctor's we are, as I stated above, CP (Chronic Pain) Patients.  You need the help of your Doctor on this. :)

It could also be a pinched nerve or a strain of some type.  As I said, it could be a lot of different things!

Please let us know what your Doctor says as I'm concerned about your health and this pain that you are having.

I wish you the very best and will be looking for your updates..........Sherry  :)
