prednisolone(steriods)

This medication is very good for keeping me breathing,and it kills every bit of pain on my body while i am on them BUT the side affects htat i am having are are really un nerving.My eyes are feelinf as though tey are all over the place,and it comes and goes quickly,but i dont feel as though my head in attached to body at the moment.I am having a few moments of normal time thats why i am here.Has anyone had this side effect ?/I also feel like im going nuts!! My mental state and emotions are all over the place too.I have another 4 weeks of these pills as i ahd a very severe asthma attack and I need to take these pills,not so tough anymore:(

yes that is fairly common side effects of that medicine, especially if you are on a high dose? what mg are you on?  Ive been on prednisone many times too for both asthma and my back. It does help practically anything wrong in your body for sure (my perpetually stuffy/swollen inner nose is finally opened up when Im on it!) but yes it has side effects- particulary the mood swing thing. Hope you feel better soon

im now down to 30mgs have been on them almost every few months on and off but this time the HIGH is is horrible,not that it was good before.the only thing is that i have no pain and a lot of energy.I am doing doing things that i dont remember and thats not real good either.Anyway thanks for that,wasnt sure if it was the pills this time or if i am going a bit rattyLOL
