Does your doctor know about the pain after the surgery? I used to get really bad headaches and arm pain from a radiculopathy. I had a compressed nerve in the c3-c4 area. I had injections done and they got better instantly. It has now been over 3 years since the injections and I just now started getting the pain again, time for more injections. Has your doctor suggested anything like that? How long has it been since your fusion? If it is recent you might need to wait for all the swelling to go down and for the healing process. After I had a lumbar fusion I had severe pain shooting down my legs that lasted for a good month or longer. It was way worse than before. It is all but gone now. I do still have some risidual pain, but nothing like it was before. Now my pain is in my back where they did the fusion because it did not fuse, time for another fusion.

Talk to your doctor and see what they can do for you. Good luck.

i had some pain. tingeling and my arm would go to sleep and fell like it weighed a hundred pounds.i was having the sever head aches and was told it was from the bad disc and the muscle cramps and for a few day 3 or 4 my neck felt good.
But a few days after is when the right arm started hurting.
I'm in more pain now then i was be for the surgery every day i wish i did not have the surgery done.
I have been off work for 4mo. and being 24 it has taken a mo.to get some referals to a neuroligest and then it was a 2 week wait.

thanks for the time and info.

Did you already have pain in your arm before the surgery? Does your headache get better when you lay down?
