I'm sorry to hear your experiencing such a painfulPainful menstrual periods problem right now. I think you should really let your DR take a look at it and make sure your okay.
It could be caused by any number of things and it's not possibkle for any of us to know if it could indicating a serious problem.
So my advice would be to just get it checked out as soon as you can. It may be something as simple as water in your inner earEar barotrauma Ear discharge Ear emergencies Ear examination Ear tube insertion Ear tube insertion - series that is putting pressurePressure ulcer on your ear drum and causing pain. Have you been swimming any this summer?
Are you being tested for arthritis?
I hope you feel better and it has a quick and simple treatment.
I agree with TMA, theres just too many things that could cause this. I would take her advice and get it checked out, sooner than later as it could be something serious. I can't say I have ever heard of this but one thing that comes to mind is nerve damage. There are numouros nerves there and in the neck, have you ever had any problems with you neck?
I hope you find some relief soon!
Good luck
Hi, I have fibromyalgia and arthritis, and I get this ear pain a lot. It's very frustrating. While you should have a doctor look at it, it's possible they won't be able to tell you anything. I have been to specialists, dentists, TMJ doctors and they all tell me everything looks fine. Just wanted to let you know. I think it is more of a nerve thing, but definitely look into it.
i agree...sounds like a nerve thing.
I have had thaat same pain so I massaged my ears and really digged into some small areas and found some very painful spots which were most likely balled up nerves or ligaments but that intense ear massage worked. The sharp ear inner ear pains stopped!
