suboxone help

I was in a car accident in '04 and had to have bones in my neck replaced. I have titanium plates, screws and rods and was on fentanyl for a long time. I, myself, decided I wanted a lesser pain med and was talked into suboxone by a Dr.  Now, in the past 2 yrs I'm still on suboxone. I've been diagnosed, since then, with chronic lymphoma leukemia, small cell lymphoma, an in named auto immune disorder, hoshimotosis thyroid disorder and still suffer from further spinal degeneration and spondylisis.... My knees swell (will be drained again tomorrow) and the pain is at the point of unbearable. I don't have any more Chemo, atleast in the very near future, but Dr'a now tell me suboxone is not for pain and pain meds will not work for me. PLEASE....HAS ANYONE GONE OFF SUBOXONE AND ONTO PAIN.MEDS? IF SO, PLEASE TELL ME THEY WORK. His leukemia has word up its cell production and I'm at my wits end with pain. Drs don't understand I "chose" to go on suboxone so when I was older pain.meds would work.... I was building too much of a tolerance.  Any help is appreciated.    Thank you :((

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
You have a complex pain problem with pain due to orthopedic cause and post cancer fatigue/pain. You need to consult a good pain specialist and follow the doctor’s instructions. Along with pain medications, multivitamin pills, and good diet would be necessary. Your doctor would be able to put you on a combination of pain killers to help you manage pain. Drug tolerance and dependence is at times the lesser of the two evils between pain and drug dependency. Please discuss this with your pain doctor. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
