a possibility is "dry socket."..I've had this a couple times after having teeth removed..You could ask your dentist about this..it is very painful...let us know how you make out with this..Mouth pain is awful....take care
Sandee speak for yourself!!! LOL I'd have some very bad toothaches, I'd take them over labor and delivery any day!!
Usually a dry socket (alveolar osteitis) is readily diagnosed by a dentist. It is a fairly common occurrence. Have you noticed a foul odor or taste emanating from the tooth socket? The lymph nodes in the your jaw or neck should also be enlarged if you are experiencing a dry socket. It seems to me that it is such an easy diagnosis they could not miss it.
I suggest that you consult with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. They are dental specialists who have not only completed 4 years of dental school, but have also completed at least four years of a surgical hospital residency. They are trained to treat and diagnose defects, injuries and diseases of the mouth, jaw, teeth, neck, gums and other soft tissues of the head. That is who I would consult.
I hope you are able to get to the bottom of this pain. We'll look forward to your next post. Take Care, Tuck
Yes labor pains were the worst but at least that pain ends!
I was born with what they call milk teeth. My birth mother did not get enough calcium ect.
I had to deal with toothaches and dental pain ,y whole life.
I had to have each tooth grind-ed down and a cap on each tooth! I was in a lot of pain from the time I was old enough to know what a toothache was. My Mom and Dad spent a small fourtune on my mouth so I would have pretty teeth and no pain.
I thank them every time I think of that horrible pain!
