Sorry to say your doctor can cut you off completely.  Because if there is no pain meds in your system she can assume you may be selling them, have you discussed in the past that the amount of pain management was not adequate?  So when you talk to your doctor you can explain that you have had some hard days that required that you take more than prescribed.
I just have to start out by saying that when you signed the contract that you agreed to take the pain management medication exactly as prescribed no more,  no less, also you are supposed to have your medication available whenever they want to do a random check, they can call you up any time and say bring your pills in for a pill count.
So I suggest when you go in I would definitely go in, explain the situation and bring in the pill bottle with the exact amount that is supposed to be in there (in case they check). And hopefully with the explanation your doctor doesn't cut you off, and maybe puts you at an amount that pulls you threw the whole month.
Good luck with your doctor I am hoping you have a good doctor that is very understanding of people in pain.
