Will Chelatipn therapy remove metals / iron from our blood?

Before I have ACDF and another bout of pancreatitis, will chelation therapy cleanse the metals from my pancreas and now stop any further symptoms ie.. DDD, AS, Ankylosing Spindilitis? Thank you!
