12 year old repeats everything she's told

I told my 12 year old that our neighbor was the highest enlisted rank in the army and when we got home she asked "if he's the highest enlisted rank does that mean he was in the army. That's just one thing but she does this with everything like my other daughter will say she has to work tomorrow and later on you'll hear her ask her sister if she works tomorrow. Is this normal for a 12 year old?

I don't get it.  Why is it a problem.  If she is conforming.  Children do that. She's not really repeating it. She is asking to confirm.  It don't seem odd. I see chiladen do this all the time.

Well, is that all she does?  Otherwise, she's confirming, asking, clarifying and is not abnormal.  good luck
