8 year old sister out of control

my 8 year old sister is out of control, she hits, swears, spits, runs out the house, dont come hope till 10pm sometimes. everyone is fed up with her. shes only started misbehaving when our mum split up with her dad because he hit her nearly every week. he spoils her. but a few weeks ago her dad said she was upset because he told her off. but when my mum asked her he was trying to make her cry and hit her for no reason. i need to know what to do to help my mum

You didnt tell us your age,your sister is acting out due to the fact she has been mistreated, who allows her to stay out till 10pm,is your Mom around in the evenings ,Your sister should not visit your Dad if his behavior is abusive and Your Mom should get some help and start by going to her Doctor and asking for advise. It is good of you to care to try and help, this is serious so get some help for her.

at 8 years old she should not be out alone let alone be out until 10 pm. where is her mom during this and where is she going on her own at 8 yrs old. that don't make since to me. and she don't need to be around her dad if he is yelling and hitting her for no reason. hitting is never good and she should stay away from who ever is doing it.
