9 yr old fears and nightmares

by Raenbow, Apr 22, 2008 05:12PM
I have a very active, stubborn, 9 year old daughter. From the time she was born, she had her way, it was the only way! She was never afraid of the dark, scary movies, or anything of the sort. Recently, she is refusing to sleep in her own bed, regardless of what her consiquence may be. She has nightmares as well, where she is what appears to be awake, talking and walking, but she is actually asleep and doesn't remember a thing! She will wake up screaming and hysterical but will be back asleep in seconds! Is this a phase or is this cause for a major concern?
