However, things are very different at home. She does her homework quite decently, but when it comes to revision, its a totally different story. She starts screaming and shouting and refuses to write and practice anything. She has been instructed to write what she learns as she is very slow in writing (very neat though). She just doesnt try. If she is forced to write her notes, she becomes very very stubborn and puts on an act of not knowing even the simplest of the words. All this kind of behaviour is directed only towards her mother. She is fairly okay when with her dad. That is partly coz he lets her do wat she wants, and in the end, the actual work never gets done. Mother makes her finish her work and then lets her play; dad is the opposite and makes no bones about letting her know about it.
This is not just in the academics area. In general, the child listens to her dad and cares for her dad more than her mom. Dad just visits during weekends, though. Mom is in charge of majorMajor tears Major-gesic behavioural issues and gets targetted for that by kid and now by the dad also who speaks badly of her ways of dealing with issues right in front of the child.
Especially worried about her academics as she is a very brightBright beginnings child and grasps everything taught in the class, but loses out when she has to write it down as she is very very very slow. PLEASE HELP.
