My dd is 5yr's old and she won't sleep in her own bed. She begg's me or my dh every night to let her sleep in our bed. She cries and I hate to send her to bed so upset so I eventuly give in. And I also don't want her to wake her sister up (my other dd who's 9).When I ask her why she doesn't want to sleep in her own bed she say's because I love you and miss you. Even if she fall's alseep on the couch before bed time and we put her in her bed in the middle of the night she comes to our bed. So any suggestion's would be greatly apprectiated. Thank you,
Danielle
Last night I had a chance to glance at this book - it is easy to read and was highly recommended. It might be of help - "What to Do When You Dread Your Bed: A Kid's Guide to Overcoming Problems With Sleep" by Dawn Huebner. I'm sure if you googled the title of the book you would be able to find it on-line - don't know about the library or local bookstores. Hope this helps ...
