Has the medication helped you at all???  I have a 9 yr old that is on the same med and she has nervous tendencies such as yours....Head constantly itches, scrathes patches of skin like crazy, etc.... She's been on it for 3 months and it seems to have made the issues worse. Her nightmares are out of control and the itching seems worse.  Before the medicine she was mainly biting her nails until the bled and then moving on to her toenails.  I am having her tested as soon as I hear back from the clinic.  I will most certainly help you with whatever I can.  I am really not the best at this right now.
