Please do not think I am being discourtious, (I am attempting to help you)
The facts really are, that discipline has to start at home.
You mention your sons A.D.D. but if you also realise that can also stand for Affection...Deliberation...DIscipline too.
It could be your helpful consideration Kimm, so why not try to apply it.
As a mom of a child with ADHD, I can sympathize. Concentration is not the only part of the ADD/ADHD problem. So, if the adderallAdderall Adderall xr(adderrall) isn't helping anything but the concentration, maybe you should speak to his doctor about something else? There are MANY different meds out there for ADD/ADHD. Talk to your doctor is the best advice anyone could give you. Good luck!!!
We have a very structured, disciplined home due to his need for this.. Thank you for your help.. Sometimes it feels like we like we remind or ride him so hard but if we didn't he would not survive.. Today I chased him down at the bus stop cause he left his homework on the table.. How do we help him without it looking like we are doing everything for him.. How do we get him to start doing or making an effort on his end.. He is 12 and only going to get older.. Thank you all again for your help..

To teach respect, you must first show it
