Traveling

by dannigeri, Jan 14, 2008 03:39PM
As we all know traveling with children is not excatly a activitiy to look forward to. I'm getting ready to travel oh about 1700 miles with a 5/yo and have a dvd player.

Did I mention this child loves to ask "are we there yet?" over and over... Any suggestions on how to remain sane??????????????????

You can play I spy, watch for liscense plates from all 50 states, read books, color with color wonder markers and paper, buy disposable cameras for him/her.  The cameras are my 5 yr olds absolute favorite.  He takes lots of vacation photos that I will cherish forever. There are a lot of things that a child sees out of a window and wants to take a picture of.  This also lets you in to see what he/she finds very interesting.  Have fun and good luck.
