What is normal sexual behavior

by bookie9796, Sep 12, 2009 06:42PM
I walked into my 9 year old son's room to find him and his 8 year old friend with their pants off .My son was on his side while the 8 year old was pressed up against his bottom!  Needless to say I was in shock,  I yelled at the friend to go home and asked my son what and why he was doing that.  He kept saying he didn't want to, that the friend wanted to.  I aked him if it has happened before with that friend or any other friend or adult.  He said it's never happened with an adult or any other friend but once before over this friend's house.  I am beside myself.  I don't even know what to say to the friend's parents as I told my son he could no longer play with him or go over his house!  I feel very upset.  How should I handle this?  I don't want to punish him as to make him feel aout himself.  I just told him it was inappropriate to be doing what he did.  He has not shown any previous or unusual sexual behavior before this incident.  Please advise.

oh my goodness. i'm so sorry. i have had the same issues in my very large family with the kids cousins but in my case the kids are alot smaller and i think its just they don't understand these things and why its a serious matter but for your kid and his friend, they are at the age that alot of people are having sex already. i feel this is pretty serious and i do feel it very important to tell the friends parents. it will be very difficult as they will not believe u but at least if u try than u may have prevented any other kids from this nastyness. but if u do nothing than this could happen to someone elses child and i don't think u want any part of that.i totally agree that u shouldn't let them have sleepovers because if it happened twice already than more than likely it will again. its your job to protect your kid and if theres even a half of a one percent chance that this could happen again, than its your duty to not turn away. good luck to u in all of this.

Hi, Mom of 3 girls 6,8,9 - I agree with the previous response you got, very normal (weird for you but........)  Just go with the flow and don't make a big deal out of it!
