My 7 year old girl does not want to go to school. She is happy once she is at the school, she is jolly after school. But every morning we have a senario of her refusing to get ready. So we end up arguing and shouting and starting the day like that.

I read a wonderful book that was being passed around by the parents at a special ed meeting, "Tales from Time-Out" by Dr. Henry Roth. He runs a school for kids who have emotional and behavior problems, elementary up to high school. It is illustrated with cartoon drawings, but the stories and his discussions of the kids' problems is terrific.
