My 7 yr old is constantly complaining about leg pain in the calves..Do anyone have an Idea what it might be?

growing pains. her bones are growing and making her legs sore. it's completely normal. i remember my legs hurting at certain times when i was growing up.

Does she have any intoeing or flat footedness going on? My son has this and he wears shoe inserts from his podiatrist which helps. We are to watch for any type of leg pain which means we must move on to a more aggressive type of leg braces or physical therapy. My son complains of specifically calf (sp?) pain so thought id share.
I guess it could be growing pains. I dont remember what they feel like because since 3 yrs old and up I had been complaining of leg pain and doctor after doctor told my mom it was growing pains and it wasnt till I was 17 that I was dxed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritus and put on medication.
Just make sure you keep an eye on it and if the docs says it leg pains (which im not saying that it could not be) if you feel thats not right keep digging into it. Good luck!
