help with my 11 year old

by shanta35, Oct 21, 2009 06:18PM
I have an 11 year old that has always had a problem with her behaivor, but latly it has gotten worse.  She is totally disrespectful to her teachers, parents, and her peers.  Her grades are great( straight A's in honors classes) but because of the way she acts they are talking about taking her out of honors classes.  I had her in therapy but she wouldn't talk.  I am at the end of my rope I don't know what else to do.  She has the whole house walking on eggshells.  She is also known as a bully at school.

walking on eggshells  --  your words

Often people use this phrase when discussing family/friends who suffer from a personality disorder.  I might suggest you google the phrase "borderline personality disorder" to see if this might be the "cause".  I hope that I am wrong ....
