wetting pants and then bed age 6 / sharing a bed with 11 year old brother

hi, I'm the step mother of 2 children and I have 1 child of my own... I have been with the step children for 2 years now. I have lived with them full time for a year and a few months. One of the problems that I need help with is the our youngest (6 years old) she just started to wet her pants and now wet her bed. this all started at her mothers while they where with her for visitation (my husband and I have full physical custody). This is sudden and seems to happen at her Mothers. what can I do to find out why and/or how come all of a sudden this is happening? while they visit with mother they sleep over but share a bed. the 6 year old is a girl and the 11 year old is a boy. is this legal? if not who do I tell?? back ground that may help is that the mother had another child 3 months ago and lives with her boyfriend and his parents.
I don't know what to do to help them and protect them??

you should talk to a lawyer. and also talk to your daughter about good touch bad touch and she may tell you if he has done something to her because she shouldnt be doing this, and its weird only at moms house. her mom is stupid for letting them sleep together anyway. boys are going though puberity at that age.
good luck and god bless

Not sure what state you are in, but I don't believe that any child over the age of 5 is to be sleeping with the opposite sex.  You might just call child welfare and ask them about this and they can tell ya. Some of the training I once had as a foster parent was that sometimes bedwedding can be a sign of abuse, but not always.
take care,
deb
