reunited with 16yr old daughter

by roller631, Nov 09, 2008 08:16PM
I recently was reunited with my 16yr old daughter after 13yrs.It was my doing.I wasn't married to the mother and the mother and I broke up and she got married and had twin girls I agreed to stay out.The mother just got divorced and she came to see me and I had lunch with her and I wanted to see my daughter and be part of her life. The mother set it up and I met my daughter at a local restaurant just her and I.It went good. She agreed to let me see her again.I introduced her to my Dad and mom who are divorced and she liked meeting them..Any ideas how I should proceed. She has a lot of friends and I'm afraid if I don't see or talk to her to get to know her at least once a week or so it won't work.Thank you

Congratulations ,how exciting for you to have your daughter in your life and I expect she feels the same,You are right you could do with seeing her each week as you are friendly with her Mom can you arrange that with her, perhaps you can invite her with a friend to start with to a movie or for a meal or ask her what she would like to do, we dont hear these stories too often ... love it.
