Your daughter(s) & bra

Your daughter(s) & bra

Often i read about mothers who force their daughter(s) to wear a bra. Do you think this is normal? If your daughter "needs" to wear a bra, for example, if you can see her nipples through her shirt, if she is large-breasted,  but doesn't want to wear one, would you force her to wear it? If the girl disobeys, for example, takes off her bra when he mom is not around, should you punish her? If so, how? Or should you allow your daughter to make her own decision?

I guess I took a gentler approach with my daughter. I did notice she needed to start to wear a bra when she was around 12 but she didn't want to. I understood as they can be uncomfortable, not to mention it makes them feel like they're growing up too fast and they want to be a kid. I suggested starting off with a sports bra as they're more comfortable. Most of her friends were wearing one so she agreed to that. A couple of years later, as she got bigger, she was more ready for a regular bra.
