2 YEAR OLD WON'T EAT BREAKFAST / LUNCH????

my son's favorite time of the day is dinner time and he eats everything on his plate and still asks for more, but when morning comes he wont eat anything that i offer him...i even tried to get him to eat a cookie just so he'd having something in his stomach and he wouldn't eat it! he used to love scrambled eggs and cereal for breakfast and i would occasionally fix french toast or pancakes for him and he won't even eat those.....i cant get him to eat until about 12 which is his lunch time and he barely eats then......i went to wal-mart and bought him some pedia sure so he's getting some viatamins and he loves it but it would make me feel so much better to see him eating the vitamins and nutrients rather htan drink them!!! PLEASE HELP..I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its the age....I would still would offer it to him.....children will it when they are hungry...my four year old will not eat lunch...very seldom will he eat something for lunch...I also use the drinks...I think they are good but I think my little guy is starting to depend on them...they go back and fourth sometimes good eaters then bad eaters....best of luck

Make some fun out of the meals a game of it you eat some of it also , maybe he doesnt like breakfast food , give him dinner for Breakfast, doesnt matter doies it?Who is there when he eats dinner, is it more exciting, is Daddy home, does he have fun eating , its supposed to be fun anyway.Dont stick to time frames eat breakfast later or have a brunch.

At this age they go through phases like this.  It's just his body's eating schedule for now, and for sure it will change again. Make food available at breakfast and lunch, and don't offer him any snacks until dinner. If he's eating his fill at dinner then don't worry, he'll eat if he's hungy.

thanks for the advice girls....well nothing has helped because i found out why he hasn't been eating gor over a week......cold, viral infection and strep throat all at once...so now im just waiting for him to get better....thanks so much and i will definetly try dinner for breakfast and maybe breakfast for dinner!!!
