My 5 yr old has high fever. Doc suggested blook check - WBC is 18500. Doc then suggested CRP check - turned out to be 30.86. Last night, she had very high fever touching 104 deg F
Last year around the same time, she had high fever with vomitting and diarrhoea with high WBC and was hospitalised for two days. This time around, she has no other symptom and her throat and chest appears clear.
Doc suspects bronchitis or early pneumonia. Wanted a second opinion.
Hi there. Just so you know there is no Dr. on this forum, so you may get ideas, but no real valid second opinion. If that is what you are after, I would definately see another Dr. to examine your Dr. in person. I know I would be hesitant to suggest something against a medical Dr.'s diagnosis. All the best to you, I hope she feels better soon.
