My son is 14 months and cant keep any fluids down had him at the hospital today and they just sent us home after he was sick everywhere, refuses fluids now and as soon as something touches his stomach hes sick everywhere.
If more than a day, try giving him tiny amounts of water or Pedialyte, only a half teaspoon at a time, every 15 minutes. My pedi explained to me that drinking a larger amount will open the esophagus and trigger the gagging reflex and back it will come, but that a small amount like that every 15 minutes can sometimes stay down. And that sticking with it every 15 minutes, you can get a surprising amount of fluid down him.
If he has been sick less than 24 hours, just let him sleep.
