Hi, My daughter just had both her tonsils and adenoids (adenoids) removed because of constant snoring and sleep apnea.  I took her to several doctors who said she would out grow it but she didn't.  It interfered with her sleep and she became moody because of it.  It made me unable to sleep because I worried about her so much.  I finally took her to an ENT and he said immediately and with out a doubt they had to come out.  Within three weeks they were out and instantly no more snorring, better sleeping, better moods and even weight loss.  Take him to an ENT,  my daughter has suffered some hearing loss due to the enlarged tonsils pressing on things.  They are not sure that she will regain her hearing.  The sooner you take him the better.
