joint custody of twins

I have set of twin girls that i have received joint custody of. Before this order i was getting the girls every week anyway just want to put a order behind it cause of the mother sometime ways. I am dealing with the girls hitting each other and using bad words. When they was with their mother u always used to call me and tell me how bad they where being. I believe there has been so mental abuse going on. I know she used to yell and hit them when she get angry. Could there me something mental wrong with my babies? And if so what kindof help should i seek?

I would they they may just be adjusting to the new situation, though you may want to seek professional help in order of a child psychologist to help the adjust. I know kids usually act out in new situations and to get attention, but since you mentioned there might be mental and/or physical abuse, I would definitely seek professional help.
