my 4 year old cousin keeps crying when she wakes up

im not sure if shes asleep, but she keep on crying everynight. she could be having nightmares, but she just doesnt stop crying until lie 10 minutes after she started.she just did that and peed minutes ago before i posted this and it really distracting from our sleep. can you help?
