my 55 days older daughter is suffering fron flu last night

i am a mother of a 6 years old son and 55 days old daughter. i am suffering from flu as season is changing. i tried my best not to be a carrier of the virus for ny newborn but last night i felt the temperature and heard the sound of coughing. i really dont want to put her on medicine .can anyone help me?
