I would definitely give it a break for awhile. She just may not be ready yet. The more fuss is made over it, the longer it will take. My son didn't like to use the potty either. I finally decided enough was enough because it was making us both stressed out. I put him back in diapers and never mentioned the potty. A few months later he started to take an interest in it. Toddlers will potty train in their own time, when they are ready. There is nothing you can do to make it faster. Just be patient as soon it will happen.

Dr Phil had this episode on where if you got a doll that could pee and have your child "teach" the baby doll how to use the potty with your childs potty chair and letting your child squeeze the doll to pee in his/her potty and throwing a party (party blowers and dancing around and such) every time your child has taught the baby doll how to use the potty then you ask every once in a while if your child needs to go. They still might refuse but by a child teaching something else it reinforces them to learn and want to do it themselves especially since they see the great praise from the party from the baby doll which makes them want to give it a try. He swears to this method and i was amazed by how those young children who absolutely refused to use the potty was actually going. Try telling her that her favorite character needing her diapers so "it" came and took them away and now wants her to wear big girl underwear, its worth a shot. But one thing about potty training (ive had to do it so far with 2 boys) is go to the store and let them pick out their favorite character underwear and it might be a pain in the *** over the messes but completely doing away with the diapers and even pull ups helps alot. If your child still cant go through the night though for at least a decent amount of hours without wetting herself i would wait on the potty training cause to me that shows her body isn't ready yet ifs shes not able to hold her urine. Put once you do find something that works stick to it cause ya know consistancy works best with kids. I wish you lots of luck my older boys are now 4 and 5 1/2 and i cant exactly remember what exactly worked cause i tried everything but one thing is true it will happen one day even if it doesn'tseem like it, i dont know how many times i was frustrated and someone told me this exact thing lol. Again, good luck!

I tried teaching my daughter who is now two potty training and shes the same way. She knows what potties are for but shes not ready to use it. So I've stopped for a while. If you try to force it on them before theyre ready sometimes it can have the opposite affect

One time I sat my daughter on it and told her to poop in it because she was acting like she had to and she misinterpreted and thought there was already poop in the potty. she jumped up so fast and looked down in it and wouldnt get back on it lol

I was trying to potty train my daughter in pull ups. My husbands friend who owns a daycare said that was not the way to do it. She told me to get the training panties from walmart ( just like regular panties but with a little padding ) The day I put them on she peed in them. My daughter told me it felt gross. I let her stay in them for a few minutes. Told her your a big girl, big girls dont wet there panties. ever since then shes been making potty like a big girl. Every kid is different, just a suggestion
