My almost 5yr old daughter has mentioned pain right above her pubic bone. In the last month about 3-4 times. But usually it is around shower time or dressing for daycare time. She does not mention pain in daycare or any other time. So I guess it does not hurt all the time or is not very intense! She was seen by dr today, there a little swelling but not like inguinal hernia. Her urine test is normal. When applying pressure in that area, it seems firm. She says there is no pain or burning while urinating. Referred for U/S this Fri. Her fraternal twin sis has had inguinal hernia, and so I know how that looks and feels, for sure this is not the same. I tried to research on it, but not much info. Has anyone had this happen? Any suggestions/ comments?
