vomiting

by anka784, Jul 28, 2009 12:27PM
My daughter is two years old and she is vomiting once or twice a week. But she drinks a lot of milk, in the morning, before nap and at night. Other than that she is fine, no other symphoms. Can someone tell me if this is normal or I should check with the doctor. I did see her doctor 6 months ago and they didn't find anything wrong with her. Can this be an allergy? Thank you.

My daughter has a bad gag reflex. If she puts too much food in her mouth, eats something she doesn't like or gets too full she vomits. It's annoying sometimes. Does your daughter only do this with milk?  For some reason also if my daughter has too much sweet she will also.  Mine will be 3 end of Sept.

My daughter got used to drink a bottle of milk before a nap time and before bad time. At night when she finish the milk she almost always try to tell me that she is going to vomit, not sure if she just pretends because she doesn't want to go to sleep or really bothers her. Because as soon as I take her by sink and put the lights on she is fine. But during a day she is with her grandparents so I'm thinking if they don't take her on time out of her crib she vomits. I asked them not give her milk any more before her nap time to see if this will change anything. Before she did vomit with other things too, few times when she was eating dry corn flakes but now she is fine when she eats them. And lately we're going a lot to pool and lake, and she loves water but keeps her mouth open when she splash. Once she drank water in the pool and of course she vomits right away (it was good that I took her out). She is a good eater and she doesn't like much sweets. I'm just not sure if this is a common situation for kids. If this is because she has very sensitive stomach and this will change when she is older?

Sensitive stomach or gag reflex.  I'm sure she'll grow out of it :)
