Ear Acupuncture

hi to you all
Has anyone ever tried this ear acupuncture ?? My chief neuro physician mentioned it yesterday and that it can be effective on some people, although there are no clinical results to prove it.
With it being non-invasive I would be willing to give it a go!
It can't do any harm at least.
He keeps dangling the option of having DBS in front of me - which I have no intention of doing just yet.
Does anyone have any experience to share on ear acupuncture/implants ??
