Parkinson disease
How would you explain parkinson disease to a patient?

What steps would you take to determine a patient understood what you told him or her about parkinson disease?

What advice would you give a patient who was dignosed with parkinson disease?

Being a patient many times for many things I would advise...

1. Give the patient all the info one piece at a time like you were talking to a sibling (compassion) and at the end, strongly encourage them to ask many questions, give literature to take with them.
2. To take their meds and use all assistive devices-a part time caregiver if needed. Apply for disability, medicare, etc etc
