Parkinson's

by Stuff123, Jan 14, 2008 12:37PM
Last fall I was dx. with beginning, slow progressing Parkinson's.  I was prescribed Mirapex.  Seems to be worsening my condition--making me more confused and not really helping movement disorders!  I have read about Sinmet.  Is this a medication which would be more effective for me than Mirapex.  Should a combination of Mirapex and another drubg be prescribed?  Concerned.

I have had similar problems with Mirapex.  Since it was Jan of 08 when you posted your statement, you have probably gotten answers by now.  I also take Sinemet with the Mirapex.  Are you still on Mirapex and are you better?
