Sinemet 25/100 GI side effects

I've been on 25/100 Sinemet qid with troubling nausea for about a year. How should this be dealt with?

My mom takes sinemet and same dose.  This sounds to simple but flat ginger ale seems to help her. I also give her a pro-biotic everyday.
