Proper nutrition and keeping certain nutrients including sugar at a stable level is an essential part of doing well with Parkinson's. Speak to your doctor about it. Some medications require a full stomach as well to work. I would also have your blood sugar level tested and get a check up but that's a bit too long to go without eating.

wow--I am a caregiver to a PD patient and she cannot (and mean CANNOT!) go more than 4 hours without eating, she will start literally crying from what she calls "starvation". True, she is 77 and in the end stages of this disease, but one thing we have to always have on hand is food. She eats almost constantly. You have to be careful not to mix certain of your meds with protein or sugar within an hour of taking them, as you well know, but I am amazed you can fast that long. I bet you were shaky!
