In 2011 I tested for EBV IGg + IGm - but in september 2013 I tested IGg + and IGm + and again in March 2014 tested IGg + and IGm +. My GP thinks I have chronic reactivating glandular fever since I have been sick with something since July 2012, and neither a Neurologist, ENT, or General Physician can find anything wrong. My Lymphite count has been wrong the whole time, and it was only after all the specialists couldn't find anything that my GP ran a series of virus tests discovering the EBV. I don't always get typical EBV symptoms, but I mainly suffer from vertigo symptoms, even though that was ruled out. I get headaches all the time, and apart from Calcification of the falx, my MRI was clear. Other symptoms include and vary at each event: imbalance, forgetfulness, short term memory loss, sluggishness, numbness in hands and feet, loss of grip, loss of focus/concentration, unsteadiness on feet (sometimes I walk like I'm intoxicated), and mild to severe nausea without vomiting. As every specialist I have been to see can't find anything wrong, and it most likely is a virus that is keeping me sick, and with no other viruses showing up in my tests, can it be chronic EBV? I ask the question, because 2 other doctors don't agree with that diagnosis and the last said some do and some don't and he was one that didn't believe in it. If it's not that what else could it be?
