A frustrated parent

I have a 12 yr. old son, who in March was hospitalize for a week with elevated cardiac enzymes.(8.3) Since then, he as been having the same type of pain and pressure in his chest that he had then.  We have been to the hospital about 10 times and they said that eveything is fine, but no one can tell me why he's having this pain.  His cardiologist said that he's almost positive that it has nothing to do with his heart and that it could be something muscular.  He told me to give him motrin three times a day for a week to see if that helps.  Is there something else I should be asking him to check?

I really understand what you are going through my son is 16 yrs old, has chest pain, sometimes really bad, vomiting, his blood pressure is going up and his heart rate, he gets dizzy and just feels lousy all the time, he has been in the hospital 1 time but has been seeing dr after dr and nobody can figure it out.  My son was hospitalized because in the chest xray then seen air around his lungs but when they did the ct scan the air was gone.  This has been going on for about 4 months now and we have not figured it out.  Hope you have better luck then us!!!!
