recently had 2 y/o male present with choking while taking a nap at a daycare center. Staff reported that child then became apnic for short non spacific period. On EMS arrival ptPost-traumatic stress disorder was unresponsive posibly postictal. by arrival at ED ptPost-traumatic stress disorder was responsive but lethargic to baseline per parents. While ptPost-traumatic stress disorder was unresponsive Non rebreather was used and patient had 96% SpO2, when he became responsive he was switched to blow by which dropped SpO2 to 92%. PtPost-traumatic stress disorder has no pertinent medical history and is on no medications. 12 leadLead poisoningEKGAtrioventricular block, ekg tracing Ecg Exercise stress test shows Tachycardia, S1 Q3 T3, right axis deviation, and T wave inversions in leads v1 and v2. Though i have been able to find literature that relates that T wave inversions are normal for this patient i was curious if the other 2 possible abnormalities are significant of pulmonary strain as they would be in an adult. Any help you can give me in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
The standard EKG has 12 leads: Lead I, II, III, AVR, AVL, AVF, V I-V IV. I have no idea what you are referring to when you ask about S1, Q3 and T3. The EKG Complex is made up of the P,Q,R,S,T and sometimes U waves. What are you referring to?
