Aortic Root dilation 10 yr old boy

by princetonfl, Oct 12, 2009 08:35PM
My 10 yr old son is being evaluated for Marfan's Syndrome. He is 10.5 yrs, 65 inches tall, 119 lbs. No known family history of Marfan's. His aortic root (Measured at the sinuses of Valsalva) is 3.0 cm. Can you tell me what the normal range is for a 10 yr old? He has no other major criterion for Marfan's based on the Ghent scale.
