Dear Dr Guy, Your prompt reply was very much appreciated. I know I shouldn't have sent you an urgent message and I appreciate the time you have given. But the whole world is not the developed
westWest nile virus. And you might want to consider some people on this planet
livingAdvanced care directives on the other side of the world who can get no more than 1 minute with the espcialist who only saw the results and
handsHand or foot spasms
Hand tremor were ready to prescribe that was it and no room for any kind of discussion. Therefore the urgency came out to reach you.
I followed my instincts and education. I repeated today the baby's test right after sending you the 1st msg in another lab. The results were
T4T4 test = 9.88 ug/dl (lab adults 4.5-12.40,
newbornsNewborn jaundice 6.5-27) and
TSHPituitary and tsh
Tsh = 17.5 uIU/ml (lab adults 0.49-4.7, newborns: up to 20 ). While yesterday's results from the 1st lab were, I repeat, T4 = 7.4 (lab 7-14) TSH = 28.5 (0.5-6).
Had I given the medication it would have interfered the 2nd test results. Therefore I think I did the rirght thing consulted you and repeated before any medication given the tests.
The 2nd lab told me the results were fine, I would be grateful to hear your opinion.
Many many many thanks and sorry for troubling you 1st time. This time no urgency. Happy xmas and new year in advance Dear Deanna. I really appreciated your prompt reply.
