Evaluation by endocrinology appropriate?

Hi.  My son is 14.5 and 5'0 tall.  His dad is 6'2" and I am 5'3.  We were both late bloomers (dad grew about 8 or 9 inches after 15 and I grew 9 inches after age 12).  We believe he is just a late bloomer and will get around his estimated adult height of 5'11 and haven't been too concerned about short stature and no signs (outward) of puberty.  However, I'm a little concerned about his foot growth... or lack thereof.  His feet are a size 5 1/2 and haven't grown in about 2 years.  Is this a valid concern or is this normal?  Thanks.
