5mm VSD Muscular Portion

Thanks for your valuable comments earlier. My son sometimes sweats while feeding but not on regular basis. Is this because of vsd. What should i do. also what precautions should i take. I have a 2d doppler scan after a month when he will be two months old. Should i wait till then or immediate intervention is required.  Please advice.

Dear Amishkeniya,

Sweating with feeds is not normal, unless he is very warm.  I do not know if this is due to the VSD, or not, without seeing him and getting a sense of how he is doing .  If you are concerned about this, you should see your cardiologist sooner than your planned visit.
