my daughter of 1 month today has been diagnosed as vsd -7.2 mm ........ will it get closed with time or require any surgical intervention ..... wat i should do to care her ..

A ventricular septal defect (VSD) measuring 7 mm would be considered LARGE in a one month old. Depending upon its location in the heart wall, it may or may not get smaller over time.  The chance for needing surgery witha VSD of this size is greater than normal.
