My son 2 month baby boy, he had a moderate size of hole in heart (VSD), please tell me its a problem or not, hole its will be close at automatically or its takes surgery. Ok if it do surgery it's a problem in futre please tell me thaking you
It is impossible to tell you whether or not your child will need heart surgery. Many VSD's will get smaller over time and will not need surgery. A moderate size VSD could get smaller with time. Other times they may not and might need surgery, but not until the child is much older. if your child is feeding well and gaining weight, then surgery should be avoided until it is proven to be absolutely necessary.
